AA/NA Meetings

12 Step group

Diamond Ranch Academy offers students an opportunity to participate in a 12 step program related to alcohol and substance abuse. Some students are requested to attend as a part of their treatment plan and others attend out of personal interest. Many students come to the ranch having been involved in substance abuse at one level or another.

Our 12 step groups allow students to talk about these issues and to learn skills in resisting the pressures to participate. Additionally, the principles taught in the 12 step program are very effective in helping teens in other areas of their lives. This is one of the most powerful and dynamic groups offered at the ranch. The groups are lead by our team of licensed therapists who have expertise and experience in this area.
